As a local business with a valid and up-to-date business license, you’re eligible to participate in this program at no cost.
Our Mission
Through Explore Mackenzie, we aim to:
• Invite Exploration: Showcase the natural beauty, unique experiences, and incredible businesses that define Mackenzie.
• Promote Local Diversity: Highlight the range of products and services offered by local businesses through engaging social media campaigns.
• Support Economic Growth: Encourage exploration and patronage of local businesses, fostering community pride, sustainability, and economic resilience.
How the Program Works
The program will focus heavily on social media marketing, including:
• Spotlights on Local Businesses: Dedicated posts highlighting your offerings.
• Showcasing Nature & Adventure: Posts that combine Mackenzie’s outdoor attractions with local business opportunities.
• Community Stories: Testimonials from residents and visitors about their experiences.
• Event & Promotion Highlights: Posts featuring business-driven events and special deals.
Additionally, our Explore Mackenzie campaign will feature exciting community events, such as Plaid Friday and the interactive Find the Moose game, which you’re welcome to participate in.
Sharing Events and Promotions
• We will do our best to share your events and promotions on our social media platforms to help boost your reach and engagement. However, to ensure fairness and equal treatment for all businesses, we may need to limit the number of posts we share per business. This approach allows us to support the entire Mackenzie business community equitably.
