Business Facade Improvement Program

Looking better all the time

The District of Mackenzie has submitted an application the Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT) for funding towards the 2019 District of Mackenzie Business Façade Improvement Program. If successful in receiving funding, the District will announce its new program guidelines and application deadlines.

Why Apply for the Business Facade Program?

Are you a business owner in Mackenzie that wants to improve your business exterior? The District of Mackenzie Business Façade Improvement Program was created to support local businesses in an effort to renovate, refurbish and improve their business exteriors so that visitors to Mackenzie are encouraged to stop and create a positive impression for people passing through and residing in our community.

The opportunity for businesses to enhance and improve store fronts and streetscapes will encourage people to utilize the local business services, thereby increasing revenues for our business sector. The District of Mackenzie Business Façade Improvement Program will provide a reimbursement grant of up to a maximum of $5,000 per building/project to improve the exterior façades of downtown buildings.

Program Guidelines & Application Form

2019 applications and guidelines will be released in early spring if we are successfully awarded the program funding from the Northern Development Initiative Trust.
