Surplus Item Disposal

The District of Mackenzie seeks to offer for sale items no longer in use in its operations. Any individual, business, or other party (the public) is eligible to submit private bids. Each item will have individual tender sheets for the public to provide private bid submissions on the items. When the District is disposing of surplus goods, these items are posted on the District website and available for purchase via private auction at the District or through the provincial government website BC Bid. The highest bid will be the successful tender.

 

Viewing Opportunities:

Items are available for viewing by appointment Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Tender sheets will be available at the time of viewing. Please contact Brennan McArthur, Technical Coordinator, to book a viewing at 250-997-3761 or by email.

 

• Bidding ends: 12:00 pm June 1, 2021
• Bids opened: May 12, 2021 at 8 am. Only the successful bidder will be notified
• Item pick-up: Successful bidder must move the beams off site as soon as possible before August 1, 2021

 

Payments must be in cash, certified cheque, debit or credit card and payment must be made prior to taking ownership. All items are sold as is where is. All items are subject to PST and GST. A contract of sale of goods will be issued. There is a reserve. The District of Mackenzie reserves the right to refuse any bid.

Spruce Pine Fir 2” X 8” 12 beams at 63” X 42” 2 beams at 28”-7 X 42” No paperwork Successful bidder will be required to move beams at their expense.
