The public is advised that the Council of the District of Mackenzie will be considering amending Council Procedure Bylaw No. 1379 at their Regular Meeting of Monday November 23, 2020.
The proposed bylaw amendment will add a public comment and question section near the beginning of the agenda, prior to decisions being made, as well as several housekeeping changes to align with current practice.
The list of rules, procedures and limitations regarding the public comment and question period have been formally reviewed and detailed to ensure adherence to the Local Government Act and the Community Charter.
