Wildfire G61999 Update

The BC Wildfire Service notified the District this morning that they have discovered a wildfire south of Mackenzie, west of Lions Lake. The suspected cause is natural and the wildfire is currently estimated at 0.1 hectares in size.

BC Wildfire Service is actioning the fire and maintaining communication with the District. We will provide an update to residents when we can share more.
