Updated District Land Prices

TAKE NOTICE that the District of Mackenzie intends to dispose of the following lands at the 2024 Assessed Value or posted price as noted.

As part of the 2019 financial audit process, KPMG, auditor for the District of Mackenzie, reviewed the value of land held for sale by the District. KPMG recommended that an appraisal be completed every three years to ensure the fair market value is comparable to the assessment values posed by BC Assessment, or if there is a significant change in market conditions that could affect market values. The estimated 2024 market value for the subject lots in both the Bell Place and the Airport subdivision are as follows:
