Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Announced for the Access for All Project at Morfee Lake
The community is invited to celebrate a milestone in accessibility and recreation in Mackenzie.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. at First Beach, Morfee Lake, marking the completion of the Access for All project; an initiative designed to make one of Mackenzie’s most popular outdoor spaces more inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
The Access for All project introduces several key upgrades to First Beach, including:
- New accessible pathways
- Upgraded washroom facilities
- Improved lighting for safety and visibility
- Braille signage to enhance accessibility
These improvements will make it easier for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy the natural beauty and recreational opportunities at Morfee Lake.
Community members, partners, and supporters are encouraged to attend the ceremony and help celebrate this important achievement.
