National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – Office Closure

We would like to inform you that the District Municipal Office and Public Works will be closed on Friday September 29th, 2023, in observance of National Truth and Reconciliation Day. The Mackenzie Recreation Centre will be closed on Saturday September 30th, 2023.

National Truth and Reconciliation Day is a significant day for all Canadians. It is a time to reflect on the painful history of the residential school system and its impact on Indigenous peoples across the country. It is also an opportunity to honor the survivors, their families, and the communities affected by this dark chapter in our nation's history.
