Hydrant and Watermain Flushing

Attention Residents:

The District of Mackenzie Public Works Department wishes to notify the Residents of Mackenzie that there will be flushing of watermains and fire hydrants, in town between Tuesday June 2nd, and Friday, June  5th and in the Gantahaz subdivision Tuesday June 9th and Wednesday June 10th. Please use extra caution when crews are on the streets. This notice is for both townsite and Gantahaz residents.

Residents may notice a temporary discoloration of their water, and a pressure drop. Running your tap for a minimum of three minutes should clear up this problem.
