Burn and Fireworks Permits Available Online

Burn and Fireworks Permits can now be filled out online on Let's Chat Mackenzie. Fill out and submit your application and the Fire Department will review the application and respond within 3 business days. Once the permit is approved, you must keep a digital or physical copy of the approved permit to present to the Fire Department, Bylaw, or Law Enforcement Officer if requested.

For any residents who require assistance with this new application process, please come down to the Municipal Office, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm and one of our staff members can assist filling out the online application.

Here is how the new Permit application works:

Step 1 - Fill out the Permit Application on the Let’s Chat Mackenzie Site at https://www.letschatmackenzie.ca/mackenzie-firerescue-department-permits.

Step 2 - Submit the Application once it’s filled out. An email will be sent to the applicant to confirm the submission, and an email with your application will be sent to the Fire Department for review and approval.

Step 3 - The Fire Department will review the permit application and get back to the applicant within 3 Business Days.

Step 4 - Once the permit is approved, the applicant must have a Physical or Digital copy of the permit approval available to present to a Fire Department, Bylaw, or Law Enforcement Officer if requested.
