BC Hydro EV Charging Station’s

We're thrilled to announce the installation of two brand-new Level 3 fast chargers in the 616 parking lot. A big thank you to BC Hydro for fully funding this project and bringing the first public charging station to Mackenzie!

This significant upgrade highlights Councils priority of supporting sustainable transportation and environmentally concience decision making.

Level 3 fast chargers, also known as DC fast chargers, are the fastest way to charge your EV. They can recharge most EV batteries to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes, making them perfect for quick stops and reducing the time you spend waiting for your car to charge.

This project has provided convenience to electric vehicle (EV) owners in our community while also expanding our capability to accommodate traveler's with EV's.
