Temporary Use Permit Application
Mayor and Council will be considering approval on a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) to allow for
the operation of a vehicle storage facility at 11445 Highway 39 in the Gagnon Subdivision.
What is the intent of the application?
Zoning Bylaw No. 1368, 2017 does not allow “Storage Yard” use in the Rural Residential 2 Zone, in which 11445 Highway 39 is currently located. As a result, the property owner has made an application for a 3-year Temporary Use Permit for this use. The intent is to have a temporary storage space for vehicles to be transferred for repairs. Vehicles intended to only be stored in the facility for up to 60 days and then transferred to other locations, such as Prince George, for appropriate processing, recycling, or repair. The draining and reselling of parts or vehicles is not intended for this site.
How can you participate?
