National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – Facilities Closures

We would like to inform you that all District facilities will be closed on Tuesday September 30th, 2025, in observance of National Truth and Reconciliation Day.

National Truth and Reconciliation Day is a significant day for all Canadians. It is a time to reflect on the painful history of the residential school system and its impact on Indigenous peoples across the country. It is also an opportunity to honor the survivors, their families, and the communities affected by this dark chapter in our nation's history.

Notice of Service Changes:

Garbage pick-up scheduled for Tuesday Sept. 30, 2025 will now be picked up on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Public Works will endeavor to maintain the normal time schedule on this date, but residents are requested to assist us by placing their garbage curbside by 8:00 am.
