McLeod Lake Indian Band - Community Wellness Centre

On July 15, 2022 Mayor Atkinson participated in the ground breaking ceremony for the McLeod Lake Indian Band Community Wellness Centre.  This $18 million health and wellness centre is scheduled to be completed in March 2024 with construction beginning this summer.  This new facility has been a vision of the Tse’Khene people of McLeod Lake for decades and has now become a reality because of the hard work and dedication of Chief Harley Chingee, Band Council, MLIB staff and community members.  The District of Mackenzie extends their sincere Congratulations to Chief Chingee and MLIB members on this outstanding milestone.
