Calling All Community Leaders & Library Lovers!

Have you ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at our beloved public library? Now’s your chance to find out (and make a BIG difference)! We’re looking for passionate folks to join the Library Board and help steer the future of our small-town treasure.

Positions Available:

• 3 positions for a 2-year term (Jan 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2026)
• 1 position for a 1-year term (Jan 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025)

This is your opportunity to guide the library through some exciting times! Whether it's lending out toboggans for winter fun, providing birdwatching gear and disc golf equipment for outdoor adventures, offering hands-on 3D printing and language classes, or supporting our local seed bank—we’ve got something for everyone!

As a board member, you’ll meet just 6 times a year (about 1.5 hours per meeting) and have a chance to make an impact on programs that bring our community together and help keep our library vibrant and growing.

To be eligible to sit on the Mackenzie Public Library Board of Directors an applicant must be a resident or elector of the municipality and not a member of the municipal council or employee of the municipality or the library.
