Land Use Change

Council will be reviewing a land use permit application that seeks to provide relief from the District’s land use regulations. Council will consider issuing the permit and is requesting feedback from residents prior to making their final decision.

 

What: The applicant, 7-11 Canada Inc. has applied for a Temporary Use Permit to allow for continued placement of a shipping container at 75 Centennial Drive. Shipping containers are not currently permitted as a use in this zone. The container will be utilized for on-site storage of goods and materials accessory to the operation of the business at the property while a long-term solution for storage is identified. The permit may be issued for a period of one year, and potentially renewable for an additional three years.

 

When: September 28, 2020 at 7:00 pm
