The FoodCycler Pilot Project is an exciting initiative aimed at transforming the way we handle food waste in our town.

What is the FoodCycler Pilot Project?

The FoodCycler Pilot Project is a groundbreaking venture that offers you the opportunity to turn your kitchen scraps and food waste into nutrient-rich compost right in your own home! Using state-of-the-art technology, the FoodCycler system will help you reduce your carbon footprint, minimize landfill waste, and create compost that can enrich your garden and plants.

Why Should You Join?

  1. Environmental Impact: By participating in the FoodCycler Pilot Project, you'll be contributing to a greener Mackenzie. Food waste in landfills produces harmful greenhouse gases. With the FoodCycler, you'll be diverting organic waste from landfills and actively participating in reducing our carbon emissions.
  2. Convenience: No more trips to the compost pile or worrying about food waste odors. The FoodCycler system is designed to be easy to use and hassle-free, fitting right into your daily routine.
  3. Community Engagement: Joining the pilot project means becoming a part of a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on our environment.
