FireSmart Fuel Treatment Project Resume June 10, 2026

The District of Mackenzie is resuming the 2025 FireSmart Fuel Treatment Project on June 10th, 2026. The contractor completing the project will be working near the Woodlands Trailer park, and work is anticipated to last for a couple of weeks. Following completion of the woodlands area,  the contractor will then move to the previously treated area behind Munro Crescent and McIntyre Drive to finish up final treatment cleanup from last year. Residents are asked to maintain a safe distance and avoid the treatment area while crews are working for everyone's safety.
