Each year, the District of Mackenzie develops an annual budget that determines how your tax dollars are invested in the community, from maintaining essential services to planning future projects. This budget is more than numbers; it reflects our priorities and vision for Mackenzie’s growth and sustainability.

We want to hear from you! Join us at the Budget Open House to learn about the upcoming 2026 budget, ask questions, and share your ideas. Your feedback helps shape decisions that impact everyone in our community.

How can you participate? 

Anyone who would like to bring forward comments, concepts or ideas related to the 2026 budget will have the opportunity to be heard through the following ways:

Attend Open House

  • When: Wednesday January 14, 2026
  • Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm
    • Short presentation at 5:45pm
  • Where: Mackenzie Recreation Centre, 400 Skeena Drive

Written comments may also be submitted for those who cannot attend the open-house.
