Day of Mourning – April 28, 2025

Every year, on April 28, workers, families, employers, and others come together at events held around the province to remember those who have lost their lives on the job, and to renew our commitment to creating safer workplaces.

Today, Monday April 28, we will be will hosting a short ceremony and laying roses at Memorial Rock, just outside the District Municipal Office. Please gather with us at 10:45am, the Ceremony will take place at 11:00am.
