Day of Mourning – April 28, 2023

Every year, on April 28, workers, families, employers, and others come together at events held around the province to remember those who have lost their lives on the job, and to renew our commitment to creating safer workplaces.

Mayor Atkinson will be laying roses at Memorial Rock, just outside the District Municipal Office, at 11:00 am today.

The Vancouver Day of Mourning Ceremony will be live streamed at 10:30 am today on the Day of Mourning Website.
