Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee Quarterly Report Now Available
The District’s latest Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee Quarterly Report is now available.
Committee members regularly visit local businesses and public spaces to help identify accessibility challenges—such as the absence of automatic doors, limited accessible parking, or aisles that are difficult to navigate with wheelchairs, mobility devices, or strollers. They advocate for more accessible spaces, places, and events that work for people with a wide range of disabilities and access needs.
The new quarterly report highlights recent site visits, accessibility barriers identified, recommendations to Council, and progress on actions that support a more inclusive community for people with disabilities and others who experience barriers to access.
