Access and Inclusion: WinterQuest Update!
Wanting to view the ice sculptures at WinterQuest, but are unable to walk the trail? Sign up for our accessible tours that we will be offering on either of the following dates:
- Saturday, February 22
- Sunday, February 23
Tours will run for 30 minute timeslots at the following times:
- 9:00am
- 9:30am
- 10:00am
- 10:30am
The tours will be three people per time slot and participants must wear the helmets that are supplied.
Thank you to the Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee and Recreation Services for this incredible partnership to help more residents and visitors enjoy the upcoming WinterQuest festivities!
How to Sign Up?
People can sign themselves up for the tours or an organization can nominate a participant.
Sign-up forms can be found at the Mackenzie Recreation Centre front-desk. Please return the forms by 12pm on Sunday, February 16th.
As there are limited spaces, an application/nomination does not guarantee a ride. Once all forms are collected, the lucky riders will be chosen by a random draw and successful applicants will be contacted by phone.
