Hydrant, Valve & Water Main Maintenance

Residents may notice contractors working at various locations throughout the community while scheduled maintenance activities are carried out on the water distribution system. Work will include the replacement of select fire hydrants and gate valves, as well as waterline inspections. As part of this work, two sections of the water main line will be removed from Alberta Dr and Columbia Dr to allow crews to inspect the condition.

Residents are being provided with a three-day work window during which these activities may occur.

Weather conditions and the condition of existing infrastructure may affect the schedule and could result in delays. As a result, all dates associated with this work are tentative and subject to change. Should changes be required, the Public Works Department will make every effort to keep affected residents informed.
