Notice of Intent – Patio License

The District of Mackenzie gives notice that it will consider a proposed Liquor Cannabis Regulation Branch - Patio Licence Application for Mackchu Brewing Ltd. at the May 11, 2026 Regular Council Meeting.

Proposed Establishment:

Mackchu Brewing Ltd

Location: Bay 4, 320 Mackenzie Blvd.

Details of proposal: Proposed licensing is for a 5 meter by 6.8 meter seasonal outdoor patio with a maximum capacity of 30 people located directly adjacent to the establishment. Proposed hours of liquor service are 9:00 am until 11:00 pm, seven days/week. The patio would be in place during the months of April – October of each year.

Purpose of this Notice of Intent: To welcome input from the public regarding the proposal.

How can you submit feedback?

All persons who believe that their interests may be affected by the proposed patio license shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity for input. You may make written submissions until 4:30 pm on May 7, 2026 (options below), or share your input at the Council Meeting on May 11, 2026.
