MEET MAX

Meet Max — 2 years old, poodle–collie mix

Max is a black poodle–collie mix with a big heart and an even bigger need for affection. He’s a cuddler, a leaner, and a bit of a koala when it comes to hugs. If you’re sitting, he’s beside you. If you look at him, he’s staring right back like he’s trying to read your thoughts.

He’s playful, obedient, and very loyal to “his person.” If you’re looking for a dog who sticks close and actually wants to hang out with you, Max is that dog.

A couple things to know:
• He doesn’t get along with certain male dogs. If another male dog brings attitude, Max will meet it.
• Because of that, he does best in a home without dominant male dogs.
• A calm home with someone who can give him structure works really well for him — and yes, a simple, easygoing male owner tends to be a great match.

Max is a sweet, attentive boy who really just wants someone he can bond with. If you want a loyal shadow who likes hugs and quiet company, come meet him.
