Water Main Repair Update September 8, 2025

Dear Mackenzie Residents,

The District of Mackenzie is happy to announce water is flowing in the Babine, Stuart , Nechako, Azu, Crooked River area again. This water is to be used for toilets, showers, and watering gardens. The water is not safe for drinking until further notice.

Water lines are being flushed today(Sept 8th) and water sampling will be sent off tomorrow (Sept 9th) for approval for drinking. Residents that have been affected by the outage will be personally notified when the water is safe to drink.

Potable water will be available at corner of Stuart and Babine Drive until the water is safe to drink.
