Mackenzie Wildfire Deployment

On Friday, May 30th, the Mackenzie Fire Department deployed our Type 5 Wildland Engine and a crew of three firefighters to assist with the Kelly Lake Wildfire. This afternoon, BC Wildfire also requested one of our Structure Protection Trailers, which has been sent to support Structure Protection efforts.

Although we have resources deployed up north, the Mackenzie Fire Department still has members in town that are available to respond to any emergency that may arise.
