National Indigenous Peoples Day
Chubby Cree will be performing in McLeod Lake and Mackenzie on National Indigenous Peoples Day - Tuesday June 21st. They will be spreading their message of healing, connection and love for all people.
McLeod Lake Indian Band is hosting an Appreciation and Celebration event from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm on June 21st. More details of the event can be found on the MLIB website.
Chubby Cree will then be in Mackenzie at the Spirit Square at 7:30 pm to perform.
This First Nations hand drum group from Edmonton is gaining a lot of recognition for their passionate Indigenous music. 12-year old Noah Green and his grandmother Carol Powder have been performing together for years in front of thousands of people.
