Mackenzie Airport Terminal Now Open!

In April of 2019, Mackenzie was approved for grant funding from the BC Air Access Program and the Northern Development Initiative Trust towards the Mackenzie Airport Improvement Project. The project included the purchase and installation of de-icing equipment and friction measurement instruments, construction of a terminal building, installation of a fuel distribution system, and upgrades to Firehall #2.

Two years later, the official opening day arrived, and we’ve already had our first customer! We thank everyone who has participated in making this project a reality!
