Paving plan 2026
The District of Mackenzie’s 2026 Paving Plan is now underway, with construction activities expected to take place from mid-June through early July.
Tentative Work Schedule
- June 16–19: Recreation Centre concrete work
- June 22: Milling on Nechako, Stuart, Robinson, McIntyre, Grayling, and Skeena (sections)
- June 23: Milling on Skeena, Selwyn, Centennial (A, B, C), Chichouyenily, Cicada Rd, and Public Works Yard
- June 24–25: Paving on Centennial areas, Chichouyenily, Cicada Rd, Selwyn, and surrounding locations
- June 26–July 1: Paving on Skeena (sections), Recreation Centre, Stuart, Nechako, Robinson, McIntyre, and Grayling
What to Expect
- Temporary traffic delays and detours
- Limited on-street parking in work zones
- Short-term access impacts to driveways
This schedule is tentative and may change due to weather or operational requirements. The District will notify residents of any significant changes or delays.
